The mule deer buck is to be 2x2 or 2x3. Charter to the island is about $650 per person leaving from Camarillo, CA. Can be upgraded to include cow elk for $500. The adult observer cost is included in the trip. Hunting license, hunter safety, and non-lead ammo required. Dates of trip are January 14-16, 2011.

This trip for silver salmon will take place on the Akwe River. Camps are wall tents with floors and heaters. Includes all lodging, meals, guiding and flight to camp from Yakutat. Does not include Alaska sport fishing license or transportation to/from Yakutat. The value of this trip is $8,400 ($4,200 per client), but Fran and John are offering a special price in support of our chapter and additional clients may be added at $3,950 each. Bow and gun hunters have enjoyed success rates of 75% on trophy bucks scoring from 130 to over 200 SCI with a 6 year average score of 142. In 2009 hunters enjoyed a 100% success rate on bucks ranging 132 to 186 SCI. The hunter is responsible for the hunting license ($530) and gratuities. The hunt includes lodging, meals, guide service, and local hunt transportation. The outfitter will assist with tag application for draw (zone 6, May 1 deadline). Bow hunters usually draw 3rd year and gun hunters the 2nd year. Additional hunters at the regular price of $5,500 and additional observers at $200 per day. Airport arrival, Moline Illinois, hunt Sperry, Iowa. The hunt year is dependent upon drawing the tag, but expect 2012, November to December.
