Five lucky junior hunters will be selected in a free, random drawing for five guided antlerless deer hunts at the famous Tejon Ranch for the 2019 season. Once again the Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) in cooperation with the Tejon Ranch will sponsor the 16th Annual “Sharing the Tradition” junior hunts. “These hunts are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for juniors to experience a free guided hunt on the famous Tejon Ranch and to receive great hunting products,” according to hunt director Jerry Springer.

The five junior hunters will be drawn at random for a free one-on-one guided antlerless deer hunt on the 270,000-acre Tejon Ranch, located in Southern California. These are no ordinary hunts, thanks to the generous sponsorships of Tejon Ranch, Mule Deer Foundation, Simmons, and Girls with Guns. First-class lodging on the ranch is included and each junior hunter will receive binoculars from Simmons plus items for from Girls with Guns for the young lady hunters.

To date, 237 junior hunters have participated in these hunts with a 99% success rate on deer.

The deadline to apply for this year’s drawing is October 14, 2019. Hunts will take place during the weekend of December 7-8, 2019. The entry application can be found at the following link westernhunter.com/2019STThunts.html For more information email Jerry Springer at Jerry@WesternHunter.com
