Anyone here in California who’s been wanting to get your hunting license, now is the time. Due to Covid-19 they will not be holding in person hunting safety courses. These courses will be offered 100% online. This is huge because you can now get that license at home on your schedule.
It’s simple and here’s how you do it.
Step 1: Go to https://wildlife.ca.gov and register under online license purchasing. You’ll be given a GOID#. This number will be used to take the online course.
Step 2: Take online course go to https://www.hunter-ed.com/california/ and take the online course, print your certificate
Step 3: go back to https://wildlife.ca.gov and purchase your hunting license along with any tags you want to try and hunt this year. For our statewide draw you have to apply by June 2nd.
