The San Diego Chapter, Safari Club International, held a very fine meeting July 29,2021 at Tom Hams Lighthouse, A beautiful location on Harbor Island on San Diego Bay.  The guest speaker was Jason Roussos of Rift Valley Safaris in Ethiopia.  In my humble opinion, his presentation is one of the best I have heard in some time.  Jason, who has been a PH since 1982, showed slide pictures of many different animals, including three Mountain Nyala, the top three in the Safari Club Record Book.  The horns looked like Greater Kudu!   Jason also showed the difference in Hogs.  One of our chapter members holds the world for a Giant Forest Hog. There are various types of Buffalo, Bushbuck, Duiker, Warthog and even a picture of His Fathers 146# Elephant.  Jason shows a great knowledge of the Country.  If anyone hasn’t heard him, and you should get a chance to hear his presentation. – Mike O’Haver, Founding member of the San Diego SCI Chapter and First Chapter Board Member.
